So Nick's mom wanted a wild party for having to have to turn 60 so what better place to go than Las Vegas? When we initially told Jack he didn't seem pleased at all and we couldn't figure out why. On our way to dinner one night, listening to Katy Perry's Waking up in Vegas, we found out the answer.
Jack: (While taking a break from singing Waking up in Vegas) So is that why they call it Lost Vegas?
Nick: Why?
Jack: Because you lose all of your money? Daddy, your aren't going to lose all your money, right?
Nick: Right
Jack: (much relieved) Do we need to get some glitter for Ainsley for Lost Vegas?

So we decided since we were in Las Vegas that we would do some exploring. We went out one day to the Hoover Dam. Nick had not been there since he was in high school and I have never been there. It was pretty amazing.
Jack would have sat on the ledge if we would have let him. We thought that the "Danger Keep Off Wall" signage was a little understated given the sheer drop below.
It was pretty windy if you were brave enough to hang your head over the side.
Our Gorgeousness.
Handsome boy.
Ainsley is trying really hard to keep her hard hat on. It was way to big for her head and even when we tried the smallest size, it kept falling off.
The moment these two saw these hardhats in the gift shop, they knew that they had to have them. Unfortunately, they needed batteries and since we were on the road, we didn't have any handy. Mimi and Pop came to our rescue later in the week though.
Ainsley is trying to tell us via sign language that it is a little bright and she needs some sunglasses.
Trying to get an echo.
