The Easter bunny must be getting forgetful because he left Jack multiple baskets- what a lucky boy! The first one showed up on March 19th. I could tell that the Easter Bunny consulted with Grandma B because there was lots of fun toys and chocolate in this basket. Jack was so enthralled with his new gecko that I think that he forgot to look at anything else.
The second basket showed up on March 21st and came via Salt Lake City. Mimi and Pop were nice enough to help the Easter Bunny deliver this basket. It contained a cute little ducky outfit (which he wore on Easter) and a bunny book.
This Easter, we went up to Pittsburgh to spend the weekend with Grammy and Papap and Uncle David and to meet Aunt Morgan, Uncle Brian, Gracie, Clemson and Cindy and David Gosey. Thankfully for us, he slept the entire drive up to Pittsburgh but of course was wide awake in the hotel room until 4 am. I think that we preferring having him sleep in the car!
We got up bright and early the next morning and went downtown to the Pittsburgh Strip District (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strip_District_(Pittsburgh)) to meet up with everyone and to shop around. It had started to snow so we were ducking in and out of shops trying to keep warm. Jack took a few minutes to warm up to everyone but once he did, he was all smiles. We stopped for lunch at a local pizza restaurant and Jack feel asleep in Uncle David’s arms after a nice warm bottle.
After that, we headed over to the South Hills to the Galleria to go to Pottery Barn Kids. We bought Jack’s crib bedding and a rug for his new room. Hopefully we can get his room together asap now that we have all of his bedding. Thank you Aunt Morgan for helping us! Easter morning was a whirlwind of excitement. Jack had his first Krispy Kreme donut.
True to form (and just like Grace), Jack much preferred to like off the chocolate icing and sprinkles than to actually eat the donut. The Easter Bunny came through Pittsburgh as well and brought Jack some cute Angel Dear "Friends", a Clemson onesie (for those Clemson vs. VT games) a new Elmo book and some sippy cups. Thank you Easter Bunny for being so thoughtful!

Jack is looking so grown up! I guess that is what happens when you don't see a baby for a few months. I hope you are getting fairly settled at your new house. I think you should do a photo tour of the new house and how you have decorated it and put it up on your blog. You are such amazing decorators that I am certain it is beautiful.
