December snowstorm

On December 19th, it started snowing and snowing and snowing and didn't stop until almost 12 hours later. What we were left with was almost 2 feet- the kind of snow storm that this area hasn't seen in a very long time. We loved it! It was beautiful. Jack, especially, seemed enchanted with the snow.

Jack had just gotten out of the bath when we opened the door to inspect the damage so we bundled him up in one of Nick's jacket and hats so that he didn't get too cold.

Our neighbors across the street built a snow fort for their son. It was so big, they had to reinforce the roof with plywood and wooden beams. They had been playing in it most of the day and when they saw Jack venturing out and invited him over .

Jack is a little nervous about being in the snow fort.
