Jack now has 8 teeth- 4 on top and 4 on the bottom. When he smiles, he scrunches up his eyes and his nose and gives you a big goofy grin. You can see all of his teeth and he looks like a jack-o-latern.

Other than smiles, Jack has found other ways to show off his teeth – biting. He will bite anything that stands still – the couch, the stairs, his snugglies. When I am trying to cook dinner and not paying enough attention to him, he will pull himself up by my pants and give my leg a good bite.

The latest casualty has been his footballs. He has discovered that he can move around much quicker if he can carry his football in his mouth the way that a mother tiger will carry her cub by the scruff of his neck. He just tilts his head down, bites into the ball and roars off to the other side of the room with his ball firmly planted between those eight teeth. Unfortunately, though, as foam balls do, they tend to rip from overbiting.

We have already thrown away his Steelers ball after both ends had huge chunks missing. We were hoping to resserect this Saints ball by taping off all of the areas that he has already bitten off. This was obviously to no avail because he bit several holes in the middle where we hadn’t already taped.
