UVA vs. UNC

Like most UVA football games, this one was a nail biter. UNC was ranked and the Cavs, the Cavs were playing hard to redeem themselves from some poor showings earlier in the season. The Cavs ended up winning but just barely. Nick and Jack went to the game with Aunt Maere. Jack got a little tired and slept for a whole quarter. That is quite an unbelieveable feat since our tickets are on the 3rd row, right in front of the cheerleaders and right next to the giant speakers which blare the sound of the marching band when they play. He must have been really tired. . .

Trailing 10-3 with 2:18 to play, Jack, Maere and Nick headed up, expecting a loss. They watched in fascination from the Hill as the Cavaliers, on a dramatic 82-yard scoring drive, sent the game into overtime. The Tar Heels were able to kick a field goal during thier overtime play and miraculously enough, our Wahoos scored a touchdown.

After recovering from their initial shock, the students on the Hill came to their senses and realized that the ushers were no longer blocking their access to the field and everyone ran for the 50 yard line. That included Nick and Jack in the stroller.
